Affordably Priced Truck Driving Courses

The tuition for our Class A Commercial Driver's License Program is $5,500.00 for the day class and $6,000 for the evening class. This includes a $500 deposit which is paid at the time of registration. The tuition must be paid in full by cash, check, or credit/debit card before the start of class.


Due to rising costs, we are forced to pass along some of those fees to our students. All payments made by credit/debit card will be charged an extra 3% to cover credit/debit card fees. Cash, checks, and money orders will continue to pay the stated rate. We accept the GI Bill® (GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government website at benefits.va.gov/gibill). Payment plans are also an option for those who qualify.


At the conclusion of this course, Licensed State Testers come to our site to administer the State Commercial License exam. There are no additional charges for up to three license exams. Each student is responsible for the following costs which are not paid to DCS School of Driving and are not included in the tuition.

Payment Plans

We Offer In-House Financing Option

  • The plan requires you to pay part of the cost up front ($2000 for day class/$2500 for evening class).
  • The balance will be financed at 18% deferred for 14 months. This means that if all of your payments are made in full and on time, you will not be charged any interest charges.
  • Repayment will be according to the following schedule: No less than 3 weeks after the expected graduation date, you will make your first payment of $250. Every month afterwards for 13 months, your payment will be $250.
  • There is a one-time application fee. This fee is $125 and covers costs to perform background checks.


This fee is non-refundable whether or not you are approved.


You must meet all of the following to qualify for our payment plan:

  1. Be 18 years of age.
  2. Take and pass a Department of Transportation "Commercial Driver's Physical" and provide the results to the school.
  3. Take and pass a Department of Transportation Drug Screen and provide the results to the school.
  4. Have a valid Class "A" Commercial Drivers Test authorization.
  5. Have no felony convictions in the last 10 years.
  6. Have no drug convictions in the last 10 years.
  7. Have no conviction for driving with a suspended or revoked license in the last 10 years.
  8. Have no reckless/careless driving convictions in the past three years.
  9. Have no license suspension for points or moving violations in the past three years.
  10. Have no more than one moving violation and/or accident during the past year.
  11. Have no more than two moving violations and/or accidents during the past three years
  12. Have no DWI, DUI, BAC, or Open Container convictions in the past five years. No more than 2 lifetimes.
  13. Have a FICO credit score of at least 650 (or a co-signer with at least 650).
  14. Have no bankruptcy in the past seven years.
  15. Have a valid credit or debit card.


DCS School of Driving will run background checks including, but not limited to Criminal, Driving, and Credit History.
